Are your services covered by insurance?

My services are accepted by a large variety of insurance providers, please be sure to check with yours to confirm psychotherapists are accepted. Any questions related to finances can be discussed during a 15-minute complimentary consultation. An effective method for understanding your therapy coverage through insurance is to contact them via phone or email and inquire directly. It's essential to keep thorough records including the name of the representative, details of the conversation, and the date for future reference.

Where do you offer your services?

I offer both virtual and in-person psychotherapy services to meet your needs. Whether you're located anywhere across Ontario or prefer to meet in person, I provide a safe, comfortable space for healing. My virtual sessions are convenient and flexible, allowing you to receive support from the comfort of your home. For those in the Stouffville (or surrounding) area, my in-person office offers a welcoming environment to work together towards your goals.

What are your fees?

A sliding scale fee (which may be offered to those that qualify) is a flexible payment arrangement that is based on an individual's income or financial situation, allowing for affordability based on one's means (limited availability).
 

What is your approach to therapy?

I don't believe in a "one size fits all" philosophy, and I will typically leverage interventions/strategies from a variety of therapeutic orientations that best suit the needs and goals of the client.  This includes but is not limited to CBT, DBT, EMDR, and more.

How long will therapy last?

The duration of psychotherapy can vary significantly from person to person, as it depends on several factors such as the individual's unique needs, goals, and the frequency with which they can commit to therapy. While some individuals may find relief and achieve their desired outcomes in a relatively short period, others may require more time to explore and address deeper issues.
